Matthew XXIV
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
-
Not one stone that shall not be thrown down: spiritually speaking, we Christians are individual stones that make up the temple of God (with Jesus being our head cornerstone) we will all be thrown down, because we must first die to ourselves to be resurrected. We must first be thrown down (to the dust from which we were formed) in order to be erected into the lords house (See Up & Down).
“Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days. John 2:19”
All buildings and houses will be tried by fire to see what material was used to build them.
“1 Corinthians 3:11 And no one can ever lay any other real foundation than that one we already have—Jesus Christ. 12 But there are various kinds of materials that can be used to build on that foundation. Some use gold and silver and jewels; and some build with sticks and hay or even straw! 13 There is going to come a time of testing at Christ’s Judgment Day to see what kind of material each builder has used. Everyone’s work will be put through the fire so that all can see whether or not it keeps its value, and what was really accomplished. 14 Then every workman who has built on the foundation with the right materials, and whose work still stands, will get his pay. 15 But if the house he has built burns up, he will have a great loss. He himself will be saved, but like a man escaping through a wall of flames.”
In my personal opinion, any building, mountain or hill (project or enterprise) that we've erected before finding Christ, will be toppled to the ground. Simply because we know that its foundation isn't pure.
“Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.”
Because everything apart from Christ is false, everything apart from Christ is meaningless and passes away:
Insert heaven and earth shall pass away
So as I've stated before, "There is no worthwhile effort on earth that compares to climbing [[The Holy Mountain Of God]]"
I can firmly testify of this having known a life of music, because my whole existence was based on selfish ambition. Towards the end of my musical life, I had convinced myself that I was doing God a service by alluding to him in my songs.. this was me building on erroneous foundations. It wasn't until the fire of the holy spirit came into my heart and stood in the temple where he ought, that I could see my flawed foundations. And so the fire burned my house down and I escaped, as one through a wall of flames:
“Ecclesiastes 2:8 I also gathered for myself silver and gold and the special treasures of kings and of the provinces. I acquired male and female singers, the delights of the sons of men, and musical instruments of all kinds. Ecclesiasties 2:11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had done And on the labor in which I had toiled; And indeed all was vanity and grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun.”
Amen!
And what are these hills and mountains and selfish ambitions?...
We'll, I'm glad you asked!
You can find the significance here, in The Tower Of Babel
But lets go back to Matthew.
Here, In likewise fashion, every word of the scriptures is a stepping stone up mount zion (as my brother Blaine likes to describe it, The God Zone), not one stone (word) will be left on top of another. All will be thrown down. That is our carnal understanding of the word. Every word will be thrown down and die carnally so that it may rise again spiritually. All stones (words) will be divided from eachother. Split between carnal and spiritual. To my understanding, that’s what it means when you Divide The Word Of Truth to reveal The Hidden Manna
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
-
The end of the world: The disciples and many of us are looking at this verse in a very literal sense (just like the rest of the bible). This very well may be so, but Jesus always urges us to look for the spiritual significances of his words. Our logic wants to look at this verse like an apocalyptic scene of disaster, but The Holy Spirit is about love, and the very bible is a love letter from God to us. God is only against our carnal nature, because it is vile. So when we hear "the end of the world" we should think the end of the carnal world. The end of Babylon. The end of enslavement to sin. We should read the question like so:
"When will a person be freed from the shackles of this carnal world, and translated into the spiritual world? When will the world end for our carnal nature?". -The Living Oracles
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
-
Take heed that no man deceive you: as a new follower in Christ, you have to pay attention and be very vigilant. Because many men will try to steal you for their cause.
Galatians 4:17 Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them.
Galatians2:4 This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. 5 We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
-
Many shall come in my name: that is every Christian denomination who professes to know Jesus in the carnal. Claiming to know how and where to find him. This of course is erroneously through The Traditions Of Men, through those beggarly elements of the world that kept us in shackles in the first place (you can insert most denominations here). Every movement, religion or philosophy that promotes an agenda other than Christ is an attempt to overthrow Christ. Because in promoting their own agendas, they are declaring that the agenda of Christ is not enough. Or even worse, that the agenda of Christ is “comtemptible and wearisome”.
Malachi 1:7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible.
Malachi 1:13 Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the Lord of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the Lord.
That which was "torn, lame and sick" is every sacrifice other than Christ (who's is the perfect sacrificial lamb). This includes The Old Law (which was torn asunder, represented by the "torn" veil in the temple).
By offering our own agendas, we are offering our own defiled meat (meaning: our own defiled doctrine) and:
Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Is it a small thing that we have received God's very own spirit (new wine) and returned unto Him a mingled wine offering, but we must also mingle and defile that of those following us?
Ezekiel 34:18 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?`
It would be better to have kept the bible closed and to have never read his word, than to light useless fires on the altar:
Malachi 1:10 “Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would not light useless fires on my altar! I am not pleased with you,” says the Lord Almighty, “and I will accept no offering from your hands. (NIV)
Apart from the offering being defiled, it simply does not work. For He will not accept it. How many Catholics are under this delusion, The Veil that has swept over all the Empty Churches? Sunday after Sunday, making vain sacrifices, but their life never changes. Their shackles are never loosed. There's never any true freedom in the spirit.
2 corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (NIV)
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
